Residents at Russell House enjoyed corn beef and cabbage for St. Patrick's Day.
#meetourstaffMonday Say hello to Kathleen! Kathleen started working for Magdala in August of 2018. She says she enjoys working at Magdala, and her favorite thing to do with the clients is cook with them. "Having the clients help stir food, cut veggies or come up with recipe ideas is always fun.
The fondest memory she shared was of Halloween when the clients at Russell Group Home gave out candy to their neighbors. "A few of the clients wanted to dress-up and pass out candy in front of our house. We had so much fun talking to the neighbors, passing out candy and seeing everyone's costume. It was a great time." Katie, as she is called, said she cannot wait until the weather breaks. "I'm looking forward to warmer weather. There are a couple of residents that have never been to the @stlzoo or any of the museums, so I'm excited to take them. The more we can go outside the better!" Last month, Katie to residents to the @citymuseum.
Even during frightful weather, our residents love giving a helping hand.
